I have not written what I have done till now.
In Jan after completing a project successfully  I went to my native place Srikakulam.
I went to my native place after 1 yr. So many works are waiting for me.
I took Gas connection ( for future purpose to create identity in my native and bank account).
Then I collected history of my village and taken photos to put them in wikipedia and returned.
After little struggle with old PL I changed to Sharepoint team.
I went there with so much excitement and was immediately kept in a Sharepoint + CRM project.
Right now I am working more on CRM part. I am contributing like 70% not full to my extent.
I liked this account  very much as they are working on the latest trends..
I found there should be more knowledge sharing should be there in this team. That is what missing here.
I attended a very good session on Great Plains from Sreejith (PM) from a developer angle.
I am trying to do some samples. But really not able to.
From my friend Mohan I got some knowledge on Business Portal with Great Plains . This is really fascinating me and we have a project.
Last year I could nt able to my best close friends marriages. But this time I dont want to miss my Btech classmate friend Suresh.
So I went to Nellore with great effort with no reservations (14th FEB) and returned on the same day to go to office on Sunday for project sake.
The current project is a very good one. But I dont know more on Sharepoint , so I couldnt able to contribute more.
I missed Yahoo Hack Day event for this marriage.
I am waiting for Deepak (microsoft ) words of arranging sessions on Dynamics.
Last Friday I attended IBM Lotussphere session. Even its a full day session I am there for 2 hrs to know on the topics and just want to get insight.
Like Microsoft even IBM is also going for COllobaration .. UNified Communications.
Time decides who will stay in the market in this area.
After so many  months ( 4 ) I attended Adobe event as my friend Sachdev is teaching Component LIfe cycle in Flex.
Good one.
Adobe friend Mrinal who told that will start his company after 1 yr . He made it true after 1 yr.
Really great guy with lots of guts.
Even another friend Saurab Narula joined him.
Sachdev is working as a freelancer and left Symphony.
Really felt after seeing those people.
Yesterday (Sat)  I went to High Court Karnataka for a personal purpose. After waiting for 2 hrs I met the guy.I saw Assembly too.
Then in the evening I went to Bangpypers meeting in Thoughtworks.
May be I have not learned too much but this is the first time I  went to that usergroup meeting.
Met Anand, Srikanth, Noufal Ibrahim ,Madhusudhan(BEMS college and google summer code winner) , Vattam Santosh(BeMS).I bought a new cell phone.

Microsoft Virtualisation ASAPPRO webcast

Microsoft Virtualisation ASAPPRO webcast

http://msasappro.com/msasappro/homepage.aspx

Virtualization is on everybody's mind. And with good reason. It's a critical, sea-changing concept with wide-reaching implications. The idea that you can make pools of dynamic resources with unlimited capacity available to users anywhere, at anytime, is extraordinary.

Because it is so vital, Microsoft is committed to driving the adoption of virtualization. However, unlike today's conventional wisdom, we don't view virtualization as an isolated, tactical tool. Rather, since virtualization can have a profound impact on your entire operations, from the data center to the desktop, we believe it should be embraced as part of an enterprise-wide infrastructure strategy.

This six part Architecture series will introduce you to the design principles of Virtual Infrastructure; the session will cover the various design models. The series will give you a chance to dive deep into the planning, design, migration and co-existence, high availability and security, through a case study involving Data Center, Branch Offices and Offshore Management, for a large Enterprise

ACM Bangalore

How to Start an ACM Student Chapter
ACM-W Student Chapter | SIG Student Chapter
1.

Form a group of at least ten (15) interested students, willing to participate in activities and carry out the chapter's mission. At least half of these students should consist of 1st- hrough 3rd-year students (freshmen, sophomore, juniors).

2.

Find an ACM professional member to sponsor your chapter. This person could be a professor in your school.

3.

Elect four (4) officers out of your group to run chapter business. At least three of the petitioning officers must be student members of ACM.

4.

Begin the chartering process by completing the petition, bylaws, and first year activity plan.

5.

US CHAPTERS ONLY

The IRS requires that all U.S. ACM Chapters obtain an Employer Identification Number (EIN). In order to obtain an EIN, the chapter sponsor's signature is required on the IRS Form 2848.

6.

Effective October 28, 2008, all applications will be reviewed on the 15th day of every month, with notification of official chartering being sent by the last day of every month. For Special Interest Group (SIG) Student Chapters, more time may be required for final approval from the appropriate SIG chair.

7.

Please email the scanned petition with signatures, bylaws, activity plan, and signed IRS Form 2848 to ACM Local Activities at chartering@acm.org. For chapters without access to a scanner, feel free to mail all items to:

ACM Local Activities
2 Penn Plaza, Suite 701
New York NY 10121-0701

The materials you submit will be reviewed for completeness and then presented to the ACM Chief Operating Officer for charter approval. Please note that failing to include any one of these items will result in a delay in chartering. Incomplete petitions will be held for one month after initial notice of receipt.

Please note that you are required by the ACM Constitution to adopt the sample bylaws exactly as they are shown, unless you receive in advance specific permission to change them from the Local Activities Manager.

Any major chapter activities such as conferences or multiple-day events must be approved through the ACM Local Activities Manager before they are scheduled.

Jaagore hit or ???

A few days back, Jaago Re! One Billion Votes movement hit a milestone of 300,000 online voter registrations. Is this a significant number? You decide:
In the recent 2008 Rajasthan state assembly elections, a candidate lost by 1 vote
In 2004 general elections, the lowest margin of victory was 74 votes
Over the next 3 months, we look forward to your active participation in getting more people registered as voters (registrations may close around mid-March 2009), and ensuring that they turn out to vote in the upcoming general elections.
We will constantly assist you with ideas, tools and information.
Begin by registering your family members right now! Did you know that:
You can register others using your own email ID
Registered voters also stand to benefit a lot by registering.
And all of this takes only 5 mins! Click here to register your family members right now and make every vote count.
Regards,
Vandana Krishnan
Communications Manager – Jaago Re! One Billion Votes

My reply to them is:

I am Sreedhar Ambati one of the old volunteer of Janaagraha.
I am part of WISA project.
Here are proudly declaring that registrations have crossed 1 billion, 2 billions etc etc.
But after registration when we are going to the real world with those forms to the ERO offices they are laughing at us.
I tried for 2 days just for submitting my forms.
I am from Belandur , Bangalore.
Accordingly I went to Mahadevapura .They told me to go KR puram .And they told me to go to Whitefield .Then finally they told me back to Marathahalli which is again coming to the first place.
At the end I could nt able to submit my forms.
It is happening to almost everyone.
Officers are laughing by seeing this online forms.
And asking us who has given this.
I dont know where went wrong.
I gave Jagore details proudly once in my blog ... ambatisreedhar.wordpress.com
But now I am thinking that we should think once again seriously for future steps.

 ---------
I am sorry to hear about your experience. As much as we try to battle the system and attitude of EROs, exceptions will always remain. But this shouldnt stop us from trying.
In this particular case, I am asking Praveen (he heads our Voter Grievance Cell) to investigate what happened and take up action accordingly. If there was a mistake on our website in terms of directing you to the wrong ERO, I apologize in advance. We will make corrections immediately. If the problem was only with EROs refusing to accept online forms, we must do 2 things
You must write a complaint letter directly to CEO Karnataka. Believe me it helps!
Praveen will also write to CEO Karnataka, and parallely talk to these EROs so that these kind of instances do not repeat
Thanks for taking the trouble to inform us. Its essential that we put pressure and not give up when such situations arise.
Warm regards,

Jasmine Shah

Please mail your complaint at ceo.karnataka@gmail.com
Please forward the same to me (do not cc it to me).
I will also file a complaint from my side
with regards
Praveen C Bhanj Deo.
ps: also email your cell number to CEO karnataka

Hi Deepak,
I am Sreedhar Ambati one of the old member of Bdotnet and BangaloreITPRO usergroups.
I used to give feedbacks at regular intervals for these user groups after attending the sessions.
In the last BangaloreITPRO meeting we met and I spoke with you too.
You told me that you are handling the marketing part of user groups in Microsoft India.
I want to tell to your notice that there are no enough information and meetings or forums in Microsoft Dynamics suite like MS CRM,Great Plains ,Axapta etc
Can you arrange some sessions by experts in our Bdotnet and ITPRO meetings?

Thanks
Sreedhar Ambati
