31 marzo EasyPHPFor easy installation of WAMP I used EasyPHP (tried xampp , wasmpserver but not useful)
Now I could able to install wordpress (single mode) and Drupal..
For wordpress change the config file.
But in multimode wordpress no need to change config file .
Trying with Wordpress multiple mode
IF we deleted htaccess and wp-config files then error is :Installing to http://localhost/ is not supported. Please use http://localhost.localdomain/ instead.
Problem in wp-config.php - $base is set to BASE when it should be the path like "/" or "/blogs/"! Please fix it!
I got different errors like this while installing drupalmu
Solution:
Clear htaccess file.
Dont change anything in wep-config-sample file.
It will work.

I understood that I am spending so much of my time in giving feedbacks.
Some are against and some are not. People have accepted some and have not accepted some.
My idea is not to criticize the speakers . If u r addressing a fresher think how much impact will be there for a fresher (to software company). if it is good then he will be productive otherwise it will be other way.
Ok leave this junky things.
I dont want to spend more time in giving feedbacks.
If they are nice sessions then only I will give feedback. Otherwise speakers can understand .
I am in trouble all the way for giving feedbacks. I was forcing to change my feedback and have to reply so many things.
I have my own project deadlines , my own goals why to bother all these.
It doesnt mean that I will leave people who are giving unnecessary details to the audience.
I will blog about good sessions. Some are giving sessions just for getting MVPs. It is evident also.
It is upto them to change ( or Microsoft has to think before giving MVP). Who I am ( in the middle)?
But some speakers are there (like Sendhil, Kashi, Mrinal ,Vinod etc..) They always strived for sharing their knowledge.I love their sessions always.
Only thing is I want to use my time more effectively from now onwards.
Thats it. Flex User Group Meeting details 28th MarchFriday ie 28th March after finishing my work I attended a Adobe Flex User Group meeting.
One of the nice discussions I ever had (not more than Sendhil session).

Actually this is Adobe Flex User Group.
But for a change they invited Microsoft’s Silverlight Evangelist Pandurang Nayak to take session on Silverlight for Flex user group.
Details about the event are:
Really I was impressed by the discipline of Flex user group people.
Really they love challenges and love to learn new things and want to improve themselves.
Definetely it is not like other user groups.
I can say Mrinal is best among the best.
Pandurang Nayak took the challenge and he was 100% successful in what he has delivered.
He maintained the same mode through out the session.

Even though we are a Flex User Group, I believe it’s important for everyone working in the RIA space to understand all the technology options available and make informed decisions when selecting the RIA technology for our next project. With this in mind I managed to convince Microsoft’s Silverlight Evangelist Pandurang Nayak to come and present an Introduction to Silverlight at out our next meeting on the 28th. It will be a very interesting discussion, so try and be there. While on the subject, I have also set up a quick survey on surveymonkey to help improve the Bangalore Flex User Group meetings, so please take a minute to provide some feedback. 21 marzo HaskelRavi Mohan will be talking on "Combinators and Monads : Understanding
Functional Programming". Ravi had talked about Monads at the recent Bangalore DevCamp and the talk was quite well received. Ravi has promised to go into more details here, since we have more time now. So, be there, if you want to understand Monads beyond the "Monad is an elephant", and "Monad is a space suit" explanations on the web. Today I went to Thoughtworks for attending Understanding Functional programming ie Haskel session.
It was nice to be there.
It is for 1 hr but gave some very little insight.

After coming to this new project I am working mostly on open source projects.
I got an idea how we can make IT useful to children. I found so many projects which I posted earlier.
My aim is to do two projects one for my school , one for children and for the disabled people.

That boy has full talent in painting .In that movie he prepares a ship moving on its own with a small engine (all of wood ,uses two pencils etc)
In painting a flipbook on moving the papers gently you can understand how this little boy moved away from his family.
On a paper he draws a picture which has continuation on the back side of the same paper that soldiers burry a canal and coming out from that will be shown on the back side of the paper.
But because of poor support he lost his faith .He just need small help.

Just ignore on writing for the time being.Take tests orally.
On sand like matter he asks the child to write letters(a for apple) with his own finger to make the feel of it.
And also the same thing on the child hand.
Preparing dolls (with some material its semisolid one can bend as their wish) which are in the shape of English alphabets and some things.
On a big board which has a big graph and asking the child to write numbers (first very size) on that graph and then English alphabets and slowly reducing the size of that graph and the letters.It improves handwriting.
(earlier he used to write d in reverse direction and the same word with different styles which are all mistakes in the same page)For rectifying this it is one idea.
Listening to music which contains school lessons and asks him to read by following the music.
Writing numbers 1,2,3 .etc on steps and asks him to go to that particular step by adding 2 numbers so that he can understand maths in a practical way.
Playing video games to increase his IQ power and concentration.
How to solve buttoning shirt and tying lace problem of kids:
Ask them to stood before mirror and see their image there .They can easily detect their defects and can understand where they are going wrong.
He improves alot.
His father comes to tell that they are also caring their kids.
Then hero explains what is meant by Caring.
Def: To care for children is necessary. It has the power to cure. It is a medicine that relieves from pain. Its a security that child thinks someone cares about him.One hug or one lovely kiss .To show that you care.To tell him " Child,I love you". "If you have any worries you can come to me ". Soloman islands. For farming people in Soloman islands they dont cut the trees.Instead they gather around that tree and start shouting and cursing at that tree.Soon the trees gets weak and dies.
It is not a practical one . But his meaning is that if you start shouting and cursing and blaming kids loses their hopes and destroy their futures.

Apache server , Mysql ,PHP in Windows XP environment.
Configuring Apache is some bit difficult.
I found some 2 major problems:
which are :
1. Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted. : make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:8080
no listening sockets available, shutting down Unable to open logs Note the errors or messages above, and press the <ESC> key to exit. 18... Solution: Edit httpd.conf file in conf folder where Apache was installed.
IIS is using 80 and Apache . So just change 80 to 8095 (any free one)
Then u can work with both IIS and Apache in ur system.
2. apache It works message
It is not a problem . It means u have configured Apache successfully.

Today I completed 1 yr with Proteans.
9 months mania was gone and now 1 yr also completed.

New words for meWYSIWYG is an acronym for What You See Is What You Get Httpd stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Daemon Day-long training to Microsoft SQL Sever 2008, Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 on March 15, 22, and 29On March 15th I attended Day - long training to Microsoft Visual Studio2008 . I saw this advertisement in "Heroshaapen Here" event. I registered for this Day - long training to Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and we have to choose different training institutes (which was sponsored by Microsoft). I selected 15th for vs 2008, 22 for sqlserver 2008 , 29 for windows server 2008. Jayanagar Aptech institue is near to my place ( Marthahalli) .Its not day long ... big blur. They told that it is for 2 1/2 hrs. And I went there on 15th morning at the scheduled time (9 am) and it was started at 9:30 am . I expected that the instructor will tell about the new features of vs 2008. The training went for 1 hr (till 10:30 am) thats it . He covered the entire subject (that was told to them by Microsoft for 11 days) in 1 hr and thats it. It is not time that I am mentioning here it is the content I am worrying about. He defined the new features in his own way without any knowledge on them. Its waste of time thats what we felt. 15 guys came from far places and it completely went wrong. He told that .Net 3.0 components are wcf,wwf , wpf and csharp ( see the mistake ... it is windows cardspace). He told in his own way. I am not against to the instructor of Aptech. He tried his best to tell something to the audience that he understood from his 11 day training by Microsoft product manager. And one cant expect more from an institute. Tell me whose mistake is this. It is who went for that training or Microsoft 's or the institute. What these people are thinking about developers ? A lady from the audience asked about Silverlight (what it is meant for )to him and another guy asked what is the need of a new datatype (var in c#). We never expected this type of answers from any session. He told that Microsoft has not organised the event properly and not planned well and what they told to him is waste and Microsoft product manager also has no replies for some of the questions. My quick suggestions are: 1. Encourage user group communities and not training institutes. 2. Spend the amount ( which is given to institutes and for the trainers) on developing a good pool of members and instructors in user communities. 3. There we got so many pamplets (different colour pamplets). Please for the God sake dont do this type of marketing stuff. If you want to market MCP, MSDBA or anything please do it in other events (put a name that it is day long marketing stuff). 4. Actually this type of suggestions should be taken by Microsoft trainers ( Microsoft company guys) . May be its tough to handle the huge crowds. Ask help from user communities we are always there with Microsoft. We can help . Here in this session the complete essence was lost. Now for the coming virtual tech days Microsoft invited Mandira Bedi . Now I got fear to attend this .I dont know what will happen there. If you want to attract more audience bring Mallika Sherawat instead. You will get more. Its my opinion on this session. It is what I felt there.
